My name is Alex Oberbacher, outfit in Val Gardena in the belle Dolomiti. I have been practicing ski mountaineering at a competitive level for 4 years. Before you get close to the sport I was skiing races, getting good results at international and national level. Then for pure passion I started to ski mountaineering, which made me feel a sense of freedom I had never tried.
